INVESTORS PROVIDE PRIVATE SECTOR SUPPORT
The majority of financial support for the Lake Norman Regional Economic Development Corporation (approximately 75%) comes from the towns of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville. Each town contributes annually based on relative population to help cover the operating costs of the EDC.
In addition to public support, the EDC receives annual contributions from a number of private sector entities. These private sector investments help to cover costs related to marketing the Lake Norman Region and constitute an important component of our annual operating budget.
